Mayureshwar

Also known as Moreshwar, this is the first of the Ashtavinayak idols located in Morgaon. Distinctive features:

• Ganesha riding a peacock (hence "Mayureshwar")
• Four arms, often holding a noose, modak, lotus or a goad
  
• Elephant-headed but with a slightly human-like body

Symbolism:
Symbol of wisdom and the remover of obstacles. The peacock signifies beauty, grandeur, and victory over pride.
